Every month, at 9:30 on the second Saturday, we get together for a breakfast at Sid’s Super Subs in Clearfield. The food is good, the service is great and the friendship is priceless!

The Quad-County Amateur Radio Club will sponsor an ARRL VE Exam session at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the meeting room of the PA Heartland Chapter, American Red Cross, 109 North Brady Street, in DuBois. Exams for all classes of license will be offered. The ARRL exam fee is $15.00, which covers all exams taken by an applicant at that session. (Retaking a failed exam element at the same session will require an additional $15.00 fee.)

Our February meeting will be held on Friday, February 17 at 7:30 pm in the Hiller Building Quiet Lounge on the Penn State DuBois Campus. There is plenty of free parking, within a few feet of the meeting location. Please see the map for details. Talk-in will be on the 147.315 repeater.
On the Program
We welcome Trooper Bruce Morris, Public Information Oficer, Troop C, Pennsylvania State Police, and a representative of the DuBois City Police Department. Trooper Morris will present a program on the Crimestoppers and Crimewatch programs, and will also discuss Burglary Prevention.

An Executive Board meeting has been called for 9:30 am, Saturday morning, February 4th at the DuBois Diner in the “Coca Cola Room.” All officers and Executive Board members are requested to attend.
Breakfast service will be available, including the Diner’s famous Weekend Breakfast Buffet and Omelet Chef, at affordable prices!
Quad-County Executive Board meetings are open to all members, but only officers and Executive Board members may make motions, debate and vote.
The Quad-County Amateur Radio Club is pleased to host a multi-club Spring Banquet on Saturday, May 14 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at the Fort Worth Restaurant, downtown DuBois. All radio amateurs and guests in the Quad-County area are invited, regardless of club affiliation.
There will be a multi-club awards ceremony, and valuable door prizes awarded after the dinner. The featured speaker of the evening is the ARRL Atlantic Division Director, Bill Edgar, N3LLR.
